A list of some up coming training course on veterinary laparoscopy and thoracoscopic surgery in the United Kingdom and other countries

A Note on Ethics and Surgery Training:  It is our belief that as veterinary surgeons we are responsible for the welfare and ethical treatment of all animals under our care. In keeping with current Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons guidelines, and animal welfare legislation in the United Kingdom, this website does not support veterinary training courses that entail any unnecessary or non-therapeutic invasive or surgical procedures being performed on live animals, simply for training purposes. In the United Kingdom no veterinary or human laparoscopic surgery training may be undertaken on live anaesthetised " non-recovery" animals. As human surgeons manage to complete their laparoscopic surgery training in the United Kingdom without having to "practice" on live animals, we feel the same applies to veterinary surgeons.
